BRS Leader Demands Action Against Illegal Mining in Rajapet

Rajapet, April 13: BRS Mandal President Sattu Thirumalesh demanded action against the illegal mining going on in Challur Guttal, Rajapet Mandal. On Monday, he handed over a petition to the local Tahsildar to take action against the illegal mining going on in 322 survey numbers in Challur Guttal, Rajapet Mandal. On this occasion, he protested in front of the Tahsildar’s office. He alleged that they are looting natural resources without any environmental permits and are making crores of rupees. He expressed his concern that the people of the surrounding villages are living in fear of the large-scale illegal blasting going on day and night.

They demanded that an investigation be conducted and action be taken against the bigwigs behind this illegal mining racket. Similarly, in the past, they had illegally removed soil from the Malbawani lake in Challur without such permits and made crores of rupees, and they expressed their concern that the concerned Nathdu, who had repeatedly appealed to them on this issue, had failed. They warned that if action was not taken against illegal mining, a large-scale protest would be launched.
