Brutally murdered young man, had dream of becoming an officer

Bilaspur. The dead body of a youth thrown from a moving vehicle in Sirgitti police station area yesterday afternoon has been identified. After the photo of the deceased went viral on social media by the police, the dead body has been identified as 18-year-old Yash Sahu father Rajesh Sahu, a resident of Ambikapur. Yash was a college student in Bilaspur. Due to UPSC coaching from Bilaspur, he had taken admission in the college of Bilaspur. Police is looking for the unknown vehicle. The incident is of Sirgitti police station area. Yesterday between 2 to 3 pm, the incident of throwing the dead body of a young man from a moving vehicle on the road in front of Gumber Petrol Pump at Parsada under Sirgitti police station area came to the fore. Those who threw the corpse fled with the vehicle. On receiving the information of throwing the dead body from the moving vehicle, the police team reached the spot and was engaged in identifying the dead body. The police team took the help of social media to identify the dead body. After making the picture of the dead body viral in the social media, till late night the dead body was identified by his friends as 18-year-old Yash Sahu father Rajesh Sahu, resident of Ambikapur. The police is also probing the line whether the student was murdered in a love affair. On medical examination of the dead body, blood was found oozing from his nose and injury marks were found on the back of the head. When the police searched the CCTV footage of the surrounding, then a white colored Scorpio and a gray colored Kia were seen passing while the dead body was thrown there. Although there is no recording of throwing the corpse in the camera. According to the police, the camera was installed a little behind, so there is a CCTV recording of the passing of the vehicle but there is no recording of throwing it. After watching the recording of the camera, both the vehicles were seen going towards Raipur. Due to which the police searched the vehicles at Bhojpuri toll naka. Apart from Kia, the police are also suspicious of the youths riding Scorpio. The dead body was found near Gumbar petrol pump located in Parsada of Sirgitti police station area, where the people around told that Scorpio was standing here, on which no one paid attention at first, after that the young man riding Scorpio ran away throwing the dead body. The police have kept the dead body in the mortuary of the district hospital and informed its relatives. Student Yash Sahu was a resident of Lakhanpur police station area of Ambikapur. His father Rajesh Sahu is a grocery businessman. Here and there, he used to prepare for UPSC at Delhi IAS Academy located in Mangla Chowk and had taken a house in Mangla’s Chandra Colony. He spoke to his father for the last time at 11 in the afternoon. During this he was returning from Delhi IAS Academy and was very scared while talking. Police will collect more information after the student’s family members reach Bilaspur. At present, the student’s call details are being probed and information is being gathered by talking to his friends and academy people. The investigation of the police is also in this direction as to why the dead body of the young man was dumped in the crowded area itself. If the body had to be disposed of, then some secluded place could have been resorted to. When the police checked the call details of the student, a number was called from the dead student’s phone at around 5 pm. While the dead body of the student was found two-three hours before that. When the police inquired after tracing the said number, then that number was found to be that of the student’s friend Hardik Bansal. When police interrogated Hardik, he told that some people called him at around 5 pm and asked him to come to pick up his friend Yash. When he reached the address given by the callers along with some of his other companions, he did not see Yash there. When Hardik and his friends called Yash’s number, the accused kept taking them here and there and then stopped picking up the call. The accused had thrown Yash’s phone in the railway area. At present, SP Santosh Singh has given special guidelines to solve the whole mystery.
