BSF jawan shot himself, was posted in Kanker

Kanker. A case of suicide of a BSF jawan has come to light in Raoghat police station area. The soldier committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle. This incident happened on Saturday afternoon. The police is investigating the case.

The name of the deceased soldier is said to be Valmiki Sinha. The deceased is a resident of Temple Hasaud, Raipur. He was posted in 162nd battalion of BSF, Sargipal. In this case, Superintendent of Police Divyang Patel said that preliminary investigation has revealed that suicide was committed due to family reasons. The investigation is still going on.
