Bus driver and steno rape girl, case registered

Karnal. In Karnal, a roadways bus driver and steno have been accused of raping a college student. The student said that the driver befriended her. Then he was introduced to Steno and taken for a ride. Where both of them raped her. Police registered a case against both of them in this matter but they took anticipatory bail even before their arrest. The police have included him in the investigation and got him medically done.

The police is also investigating this case from the angle of gangrape. However, at present the officials are planning to say something only after investigation. The student told that she used to come and go to the bus stand to go to college. During this time, he got acquainted with Haryana Roadways bus driver Ved at the bus stand itself. The roadways driver befriended him. After this the driver also introduced him to Steno Ravinder. Police PRO Sachin told that in the month of August last, the student had gone for a walk with the driver and steno without informing her family.

After which the police had registered a missing case based on the complaint of the family members. Later, when the student returned home, she narrated her ordeal to her family members. After which the student had recorded her statement to the police about the driver and the steno raping her. SHO Vishnu Mitra of Civil Line police station said that after the case was registered, both the accused were absconding. The police had raided various places to arrest the accused, but could not find any trace of them. Now both of them took anticipatory bail. Both of them joined the police investigation last evening. Where both have been interrogated.
