Bus stuck in fast flowing river, all passengers safe

Bijnor (IANS). A bus of the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation (Roadways) got stuck in the fast flowing Kotwali river in Mandawali police station area of Bijnor district. However, during this time all the passengers were evacuated safely.

Bijnor-based Najibabad’s Circle Officer (CO) Gajendra Singh said that on Saturday, a roadways bus got stuck in the beach road at Kotwali in Thana Mandawali area on Najibabad-Haridwar road due to strong current of water. All the passengers were safely evacuated amidst the strong current.

The official said that after a lot of effort, the passengers were safely taken out of the JCB machine. Then, the bus was also taken out.
