Business : Maruti Suzuki increased warranty on its cars

Business Business: Maruti Suzuki on Tuesday announced that it has extended the warranty program on all its car models offered in the country. Aimed at enhancing the Owner Experience for models offered under both Arena and Nexa retail chains, Maruti Suzuki informed that the improved warranty program will be applicable on cars delivered to buyers from today (Tuesday).

Warranty program updated

As part of the warranty program enhancement, Maruti Suzuki says that the standard warranty on its cars has been increased. Earlier it was 2 years or 40,000 km and now it has been increased to three years or 100,000 km. The standard warranty extended by the company provides long-lasting coverage to the engine, transmission, mechanical components, electrical and air conditioning system excluding consumables. The company statement said – There is also something special for customers opting for extended warranty. The various packages offered by Maruti Suzuki as part of the extended cover now extend to the first six years or 1.60 lakh km of the vehicle. The company is now offering three extended warranty packages.

Maruti Suzuki’s Extended Warranty Program

Maruti Suzuki is offering a total of 3 extended warranty programs to customers –

Platinum Package (4th year or 1.20 lakh km)

Royal Platinum Package (5th year or 1.40 lakh km)

Solitaire Package (6th year or 1.60 lakh km)
