Canada’s arrogance, India removed it! Now said- no country has taken such a decision in 40-50 years
Amidst diplomatic tension, Canada has recalled 41 of its diplomats from India after the ultimatum of Modi government. This information was given by Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie during a press conference in Ottawa on Thursday. At the same time, a former Canadian diplomat has said that India asking a Canadian diplomat to leave the country is not a normal incident. I don’t remember any such incident in the last 40 or 50 years where something like this happened. However, the fixed date for reducing the number of Canadian diplomats in India was October 10. But Canada tried to resolve this matter through private talks with India, but these talks failed. Canadian Foreign Minister Jolie has said, “I can confirm that India has informed us of its plan to end the diplomatic immunity of all but 21 Canadian diplomats after October 20. Keeping in mind the safety of the diplomats, we have ensured their safe return from India. “This means that 41 diplomats and their families living in India have left India.” This step has been taken by Canada at a time when on October 3 this month, the Indian Government had warned Canada that if the number of diplomats is not reduced, then all their diplomatic immunity will be removed. Diplomatic tension between the two countries is at its peak after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made serious allegations against India regarding the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. A report on the Canadian News website states that the ongoing diplomatic dispute between India and Canada is not likely to escalate further. Because Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie has said that Canada has decided that it will not react to this action of India. Canadian Foreign Minister Jolie has further said, “The Canadian diplomats whom India is expelling today were recognized by India as Canadian diplomats. And all those diplomats were performing their duties in good faith and for the wider benefit of both the countries.
