Case of irregularities in CGPSC, High Court gives 10 days additional time to the state government to reply
Bilaspur. In Chhattisgarh, a hearing was held in the High Court today in the alleged Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission scam case, during which the court has given additional time of 10 days to the state government to reply. Now the next hearing in the case will be held on October 16. Nankiram Kanwar, who was the Home Minister in the BJP government, has filed a petition in the High Court alleging large-scale scam in Chhattisgarh PSC. Hearing in the case is going on in the bench of Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha. The High Court has asked the PSC and the state government to submit their reply on the petition of the former minister. Earlier, the state government had said before the High Court that it would present its reply before the court after conducting its own investigation. Along with this, the government has said that till the next hearing of the case, the persons who have been accused and their appointments have not been made, will not be finalized. Those who have already been appointed, the status quo on their appointment will be subject to the court’s order.
