Case registered against constable for threatening to kill a person
Following judicial orders, a case has been registered against a police commissioner for allegedly threatening to kill a man in a village here, officials said on Monday. Bansdih Assistant Superintendent of Police Shiv Narayan Vais said that a case was registered on Sunday against Manoj Singh, former Commissioner Officer (SHO) of Sahatwar Commissionerate. Aneesh Mishra of Binha village in Sahatwar area presented a case before the tribunal of the Principal Judicial Magistrate here on August 19, alleging that Manoj had threatened to kill him, Vais said. The DSP said, a case has been registered on the orders of the Principal Judicial Magistrate and the police are investigating the matter. He told that Singh is currently posted as SHO in the Police Commissionerate of Bhimpur here.
