Case registered against principal for beating student
Bijnor . A case has been registered against the principal of a private school in Chandpur police station area of Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh for allegedly beating a minor student of class 5.
The student has injury marks on his face, waist and hands due to beating by the teacher. The boy’s mistake was that he was repeatedly requesting the teacher to come to the toilet.
The teacher has been identified as Navneet. This incident happened at CS Public School. Police gave this information.
The victim’s father Deepak Kumar has lodged an FIR at Chandpur police station.
A case has been registered against the teacher under the SC-ST Act for voluntarily causing hurt to the student and using caste related words.
Chandpur police station said that on the complaint of the father of the victim student Krish, an FIR has been lodged against the accused teacher under the provisions of sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 308 (causing death) of the IPC. Further investigation is being done. (IANS)
