Cash and silver seized by investigation team, great success achieved in search of vehicles

Bilaspur: In view of the upcoming elections, continuous monitoring of vehicles coming in and out of the state and district is being done through check posts and flying squads. Vehicles are also being searched by setting up check posts at various places. In this series, teams of SST, FST, Police and RPF of District Election have seized Rs 15 lakh in cash and 1 kg of silver during checking in different police station areas of Bilaspur district.

According to the information received from the police, in the joint action of SST and police under Sakri police station, a person has been caught transporting Rs 6,00,000 in cash without valid documents. The team of SST and police under Masturi police station has recovered Rs 69,000 in cash from a person. Similarly, teams of FST, Police and RPF under Torva police station have seized Rs 3,42,000 in cash from a person without valid documents. Under Torwa police station itself, the team of FST, Police and RPF seized Rs 3,01,000 in cash from one person and Rs 1,50,000 in cash and about 1 kg from another person without valid documents. Recovered while transporting silver.
