CATL Announces Strategic Agreement with APM Terminals

Business Business:Chinese electric vehicle battery maker CATL on Wednesday announced a strategic agreement with APM Terminals, a unit of Danish shipping company Maersk. The partnership aims to develop advanced battery products and improve after-sales services.

The cooperation will also include battery recycling. The two companies will use high-performance batteries to accelerate the electrification of container handling equipment. CATL said the move is an important initiative toward providing environmentally friendly and sustainable shipping solutions.
