Delhi CM Rekha Gupta receives death threat, probe initiated

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, the Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta received a death threat call late last night, said reports on Friday.

According to reports, the call was received by Ghaziabad Police Control Room. The caller allegedly threatened to kill the CM of Delhi that is Rekha Gupta.

Following this incident, the Ghaziabad and the Delhi police initiated a probe into the matter. Recently on March 27, the Rajasthan Deputy CM got a death threat via a call received in the Jaipur Police Control Room said reports.

According to reports, the Jaipur Police Control Room received a call from an unknown number, threatening to kill Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa.

Later however, the location of the mobile number was traced to Jaipur Central Jail. The investigation has started by informing the Jail Department about it said the Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph.
