Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, showing a tough attitude, said that the law and order situation should not deteriorate in the state at any cost. If this happens, strict action will be taken by fixing responsibility. He said that the strict and sensitive image of the police should be seen among the general public. There is a need to create a mechanism to ensure that the public trusts the police. The more the public trusts the police, the better it will be.

Chief Minister Shri Sai was reviewing the work of the Home and Jail Department held in his residence office today. Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Director General of Police Ashok Juneja, Additional Chief Secretary Home Manoj Kumar Pingua and senior officials of the Home and Jail Department were present in the meeting.
