CG BREAKING: Congress leader arrested for spreading religious frenzy
Jashpur. Jashpur. Bagicha police has arrested District Congress Committee vice president Nasir Ali on charges of spreading religious frenzy. SP Shashi Mohan Singh said that Bhupendra Pathak, priest of Bagicha Durga temple, has lodged a complaint at Bagicha police station. In the complaint lodged, it is stated that when he was worshiping in the temple between 6 and 7 am on January 3, Nasir Ali, a resident of Roni Road, Bagicha, reached the temple and started disturbing the worship by misbehaving with him. When the devotees present in the temple tried to stop him, he also misbehaved with the devotees. Priest Bhupendra Pathak alleges that Nasin Ali started shouting and creating a ruckus to stop the worship and loudspeaker. Taking action on the complaint, Bagicha police has registered a crime under section 196 (2), 299 of the Indian Penal Code and arrested Nasir Ali.
