CG NEWS: Hotel cook commits suicide
Durg news. 45-year-old Madho Dalai of Ravidas Nagar of Supela police station area committed suicide by hanging himself in his house. The youth was a resident of Odisha, who had been living in Bhilai for the last several years and working as a cook in a hotel. According to the information received from Supela police, Madho Dalai used to cook food in a hotel in Supela area. He was living alone in a rented house in Ravidas Nagar for the last 5 years. In the preliminary investigation, it has been found that he was addicted to drinking alcohol. Due to this, he had taken a lot of loan from people. The creditors used to harass him daily to give money.
The creditors were pressurizing him for not being able to repay the money. He was very upset with this. Like every day, he reached his home after cooking food from the hotel on Sunday afternoon. After this, he committed suicide by hanging himself in the room. Around 6 o’clock in the evening, when the landlord saw him hanging on the noose, he called Dial 112 and informed the police. As soon as the information was received, the Supela police reached the spot. The police brought the body down from the noose and took it to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, Supela. When the doctors declared him dead, the body was kept in the mortuary.
