Chaitanyanand Saraswati Case: Delhi’s Patiala House Court Grants Bail to 3 Accused

The Patiala House Court in Delhi has granted bail to three women accused in the sexual harassment case of self-styled spiritual guru Chaitanyananda Saraswati. The court has granted bail to the accused Shweta, Bhavana and Kajal. They have been granted bail on a personal surety of Rs 20,000 each.
The Shree Saradha Institute of Indian Management, a prestigious educational institution in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj, was run by Sri Chaitanyanananda Saraswati. In this context, female students complained to the police that Chaitanyanananda had sexually harassed them. A total of 50 female students in the college were questioned separately about Chaitanyanananda, and 17 of them said that he had also sexually harassed them.
Chaitanya Anand was also accused of cooperating with three women who worked for him. They allegedly pressured Swamiji to cooperate. The police registered a case against him and started an investigation. Chaitanya Anand, who fled to Agra, was arrested and brought to Tihar Jail. The court today granted bail to the three women who were arrested along with him.
