Himachal : There are chances of rain and snowfall for six consecutive days in many parts of Himachal Pradesh. According to Meteorological Center Shimla, one fresh western disturbance is likely to become active on 25th and the other on 27th January. Due to its effect, rain and snowfall is forecast from January 25 to 30 in some areas of the state’s central and high hill districts Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti, Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu and Chamba.
However, the weather is expected to remain clear in the plains. On the other hand, the cold wave continues in the state. The minimum temperature has been recorded at minus nine places. Today it is sunny with light clouds in the capital Shimla and surrounding areas. There may be rain and snowfall in some high mountain areas from 25 to 27 January. Whereas from 28th to 30th, there is forecast of rain and snowfall in many middle and high mountain areas. There may be rain in the plains also on January 30.
Alert of fog for two days in plains
On the other hand, in the plains districts of Mandi, Bilaspur, Una, Kangra (Nurpur), Sirmaur (Paonta Sahib and Dhaula Kuan) and Solan (Baddi and Nalagarh), dense fog is expected at isolated places in the morning during the next two days. Alert has been issued. It has been advised to travel with caution in the morning. There was fog in many plain areas on Tuesday morning also. Due to this people had to face problems.

There is a possibility of frost and cold wave conditions continuing at some places in Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Kangra, Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan, Una.
