Chandigarh: E-auction of special numbers from July 13

Chandigarh: The Registration and Licensing Authority (RLA) will conduct e-auction of special registration numbers of new series, CH01-CV, as well as re-auction of leftover fancy numbers of old series from July 13 to 15. Registration for e-auction of CH01-CV series numbers as well as re-auction of leftover fancy/special registration numbers of old series will start from 10 am on July 6 and continue till 5 pm on July 12. E-bidding will start from 10 am on July 13 and continue till 5 pm on July 15.

The vehicle owner can register on the National Transport website: https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/fancy and the link is available on the Chandigarh Administration, Transport Department website: www.chdtransport.gov.in to obtain Unique Acknowledgement Number (UAN). Only those vehicle owners who have purchased the vehicle at Chandigarh address will be able to participate in the e-auction. Details of registration fee for e-auction, list of reserve price for each particular number, details of leftover registration numbers of previous series and terms and conditions for e-auction are available on the website www.chdtransport.gov.in.
