Chandigarh: Ridhima defeated Arpita in badminton

Chandigarh: On the second day of the Chandigarh State Badminton Championship, in the girls’ singles (under-15) round of 32 matches, Ridhima Saini defeated Arpita Singh 21-4, 21-3 and Prisha Sharma defeated Param Preet Kaur 21-18, 21-10. In other matches of the day, Arsheen Kaur Baidwan defeated Seerat Kaur 13-21, 21-18, 21-15 and Samaira Arora defeated Sahar Yadav 21-10, 21-17. In the girls’ singles (under-17) round of 16 matches, Vanshika defeated Ananya Saini 21-6, 21-3, Tashvi Goyal defeated Divyanshi 21-8, 21-6 and Pratibha Ranga defeated Baruni Chopra 21-17, 9-21, 21-17. In another match, Akriti defeated Samiksha Senapati 21-15, 16-13. In the boys’ singles (under-17) round of 32 matches, Uday Rana defeated Rohit Sharma 21-9, 21-8 and Vihaan defeated Rishabh Acharya 21-3, 21-9. Vaibhav Giri defeated Tejas Deoli in another match.
