Chandigarh Supreme Court begins selection of cases for the programme.

Preparations for the Supreme Court’s ‘Samadhan Samaroh 2026’ have been intensified. Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi has directed all administrative secretaries to immediately identify cases that can be resolved through mutual consent for the special Lok Adalat scheduled from August 21 to 23.
In a message sent to the administrative secretaries, the Chief Secretary emphasized the need for the active participation of all government departments.
The objective of this initiative is to promote mediation, reduce unnecessary litigation, and expedite the resolution of pending disputes.
Departments are required to complete the identification process within one week. A review meeting has been scheduled for August 3, which all administrative secretaries must attend in person.
The ‘Samadhan Samaroh’ initiative is part of the Supreme Court’s nationwide effort to encourage the resolution of disputes through mutual consent.
