7th Pay Commission: There is going to be an increase in DA of Central Government employees, but before that the government has given big news regarding the promotion of the employees. This will benefit those employees who are drawing salary under the Seventh Pay Commission and are under the Ministry of Defence. The government has made changes in the promotion rules, information about which has been issued in a notification.
Defense Ministry gave information
The promotion list for defense civilian employees of the Defense Ministry has been released. The rules of minimum service have been amended.
Notification issued
According to our associate website Zee Business, revised criteria have been set for defense employees under the Ministry of Defense of the Central Government. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Defense Ministry. Information about eligibility for promotion is given in this notification.

How much experience do you need?
According to the service list for promotion, employees at level 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 should have 3 years of experience. For Level 2 to 4, there should be 8 years of experience. Whereas for level 3 to 4, there should be 5 years of experience. Employees up to Level 17 are required to have 1 year of experience and for Level 6 to 11, they are required to have 12 years of experience. On the basis of this, employees will be given promotion.
Dearness allowance will increase soon
The central government may soon give the gift of increase in DA to the employees. DA may be announced in the cabinet meeting to be held in the month of September. This will benefit lakhs of employees and pensioners. This year, dearness allowance will be announced by the government for the second time, after which there will be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees. The increased dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1, 2023.
