According to this, the price of a liter of petrol in the city on Sunday is Rs 100.90 and a liter of diesel is priced at Rs 92.49. Oil companies use the current crude oil price in the global market and the value of the Indian rupee against the US dollar as the primary variables to determine the price of petrol and diesel on a day-to-day basis.
