Along with this, the police have also detained three people. They are being interrogated as to where the money was brought from. Actually, during checking in Deendayal Chowk, the police stopped a car. During checking of which Rs 30 lakh was found in a bag inside the car. When the police asked the people traveling in the car to know about the money, they could not tell anything. After this the police confiscated the money and all three people are being interrogated. The police have also informed the Income Tax Department about the matter.
At present, the Income Tax Department along with the police is trying to find out whose money it was, where it was being taken and to whom it was being given. Just hours after the implementation of the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections, Vijayanagar police has caught three youths with cash amounting to Rs 30 lakh. According to the police, all three were caught when they were going towards Vijayanagar in a car. Now the police is interrogating all three. Vijayanagar police station in-charge Pratiksha Marko said that after the implementation of the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections, the police had started patrolling the police station area. I was being checked. During this time a car coming from ISBT was stopped. During interrogation, the car riders revealed their names as Ashok Thakur and Mausam Yadav, residents of Damoh and Rakesh Kol, resident of Karmeta. When the police examined the car, they found Rs 30 lakh in cash. Preliminary investigation revealed that the three youths had brought the money from Damoh or Jabalpur. Police is investigating the matter.
