Chennai: ‘L’ shaped flyover at Central Kailash Junction to be inaugurated today

Tamil Nadu: The ‘L’-shaped two-lane flyover at the Central Kailash Road junction will be inaugurated today (February 15) after completion of construction work. The bridge is two-lane wide, carries one-way traffic, is 652 m long and was built at a cost of ₹61 crore.

Rajiv Gandhi Road begins at Charan Patel Road in the Central Kailash area. The intersection of these two roads is ‘T’ shaped. To facilitate smooth traffic movement at this junction, the flyover has been converted into an L shape so that vehicles going from Charan Patel Road to Rajiv Gandhi Road can use this flyover. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will inaugurate the ‘L’-shaped flyover today.
