Chhattisgarh Employees-Officers Federation met the Election Commission
Raipur. The delegation of Chhattisgarh Employees/Officers Federation met Chief Electoral Officer Reena Kangale and discussed with her the appointment of employees and problems related to election duty. On this occasion, leaders like coordinator Kamal Verma, Chandrashekhar Tiwari, Pankaj Pandey, Umesh Mudaliar, Naresh Vadher, Narayan Bagh etc. were present.
The Federation has demanded that such government servants who are handicapped, disabled or suffering from serious illness like heart surgery, kidney transplant etc. should be kept away from election work. Women employees should not be assigned duty in highly sensitive election work like flying squad, VST from security point of view. Similarly, such government employees whose age is more than 60 years should also be exempted from election work. If the services of these employees are absolutely essential then they should be engaged in official work in the election offices. Honorarium should also be given to vehicle drivers and Daivebho employees doing duty in election work. This demand letter is also being handed over to all the 33 District Election Officers.
