Chief Engineer dies after falling off train

Amaravati: Harshavardhan (36), a chief engineer at a private company, committed suicide at Duvvada railway station in Visakhapatnam district of AP. His family members, who noticed him leaving the house after writing a suicide note on Wednesday, lodged a complaint.

While the police, who registered a case, were conducting a search operation, they found that he had committed suicide by jumping under the Janmabhoomi Express, which was heading towards Vijayawada, at the railway station. The police suspect that he may have committed suicide due to a family dispute.
