Chief Minister honored 20 top winners of Young Astronomer Talent Search

Bhubaneswar: The Chief Minister of Odisha has honored and congratulated the winners of the Young Astronomer Talent Search (YATS). CM congratulated the students who participated in the activities organized as a part of the Young Astronomers Talent Search. He also congratulated the district toppers and top 20 winners selected for the finals.

CM said that YATS has been gaining popularity since its inception. More than 80 thousand students from 30 districts of Odisha state participated in this competition. This reflected the growing popularity and reach of YATS.

Over the years, YATS has evolved into a platform that inspires young minds to think outside the box and spark their interest in the field of astronomy. The program is a true tribute to the great son of Odisha, the Pathani Samanta, as it continues to attract more and more students into the field of science and astronomy.

The CM said that he believes that YATS will continue to play its role as a platform for students to identify, nurture and develop talents in space science, as well as create a community of scholars in Odisha who can contribute to space science on a permanent basis. Can contribute to its development. He congratulated Tata Steel and Pathani Samanta Planetarium for successfully organizing this unique event year after year.
