Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai wishes Sant Ravidas Jayanti
Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, while paying tribute to Sant Ravidas ji on his birth anniversary, said that Sant Ravidas ji established the principles of equality, unity and brotherhood in the society. His teachings gave the message of service to humanity and social equality. Sant Ravidas ji opposed casteism, discrimination and social inequality through his spiritual messages and emphasized on making love, compassion and charity the basis of life.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the thoughts of Sant Ravidas ji are as relevant today as they were in his time. They inspire us to adopt harmony, social upliftment and humanitarian values. The Chief Minister called upon the people of the state to take inspiration from the teachings of Sant Ravidas ji and imbibe the values of social harmony, equality and service and contribute in giving a better direction to the society.
