Dehradun. Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. A meeting of the High Powered Committee for Rural Infrastructure Development Fund under NABARD was held at the secretariat on Thursday under the chairmanship of Sandhu. The Chief Secretary directed all the concerned departments to send the proposals under Rural Infrastructure Development to NABARD at the earliest.
The Chief Secretary said that the minimum amount has been fixed for the targets given to the departments, proposals should be sent for more than this. He said that big proposals can also be sent by clubbing small schemes. He also instructed to set a time limit for sending DPRs by the departments. Said that 60 percent DPR should be submitted by the month of June, 30 percent by July 2015 and remaining 10 percent by the month of August.
The Chief Secretary instructed the Public Works Department to prepare a plan for the next 2-3 years to repair the roads of the entire state. He said that proposals should also be sent to RIDF for repair of PMGSY roads. He instructed to upload the proposal on the PM Gatishakti Uttarakhand portal as well. He said that the monitoring of the schemes will be done through the portal only. The Chief Secretary also asked all the secretaries to prepare good and value for money projects for infrastructure development in the state. On this occasion, Secretary Dilip Jawalkar, Dr. B.V.R.C. Purushottam, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Ravinath Raman, Dipendra Kumar Chowdhary and Dr. Suman Kumar from NABARD and other high officials were present.
