Child Development Minister will host weekly radio show
New Delhi (ANI): Child Development Minister to host weekly radio show. Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani will host a show for All India Radio, celebrating incredible stories of women empowerment with the help of government initiatives and their role in shaping the lives of women in India. The government said in a release on Tuesday.
According to the release, the stories celebrate the success of women in various fields including entrepreneurship, skill development, sports, health and finance. The weekly one-hour show ‘Nai Soch Nai Kahani – A Radio Journey with Smriti Irani’ will be broadcast every Wednesday from 9 am to 10 am on All India Radio, India’s largest broadcaster.
The first show will be broadcast on Akashvani Gold 100.1 MHz in Delhi on Thursday, 15 November. It will also be broadcast from All India Radio stations across the country. The show will be available on NewsOnAIR app, All India Radio website www.newsonair.gov.in, All India Radio YouTube channel @airnewsofficial and its various social media platforms.
The first show will feature women from start-ups and self-made business women who will share their success stories and how they are leveraging government initiatives in their endeavours. The show will also include senior officials from various ministries of the Central Government who will explain how to avail the benefits of various government schemes. (ANI)
