Manufacturing activity increases in Japan

Business Business: Manufacturing activity in Japan rose in June. However, concerns over US tariffs remain, clouding the demand situation, a private sector survey showed.

The survey also said that uncertainty over US tariffs and the global trade situation impacted consumer demand. On the other hand, Japan’s services sector grew rapidly, pushing overall business activity to a four-month high.
