Children’s health deteriorated after eating Ratanjot fruit
Gariaband. The biggest news is coming out from the remote Vananchal Badegobra Tribal Boys Ashram, 18 kilometers away from Mainpur, the tehsil headquarters of the district. Special backward tribe students studying in Tribal Children’s Ashram fraudulently ate the poisonous fruit of Ratanjot. Due to which the health of the children deteriorated and they started vomiting. As soon as the incident was known, there was a stir in the entire village. The villagers called Sanjeevani Express 108 but the ambulance could not reach because it had to take another patient to the district headquarters and the villagers took the children on a motorcycle in the extreme cold and crossed the dense forests.
Brought to Mainpur Community Health Center at 9 pm. Where children are being treated by doctors. Ratanjot: The condition of two students is said to be critical due to eating poisonous fruits and all the 08 students are being treated at Mainpur Hospital. Superintendent Suresh Sagar, in-charge of Tribal Children’s Ashram Badegobra, said that the children cheated by eating Ratanjot fruits after having dinner in the evening, due to which their health deteriorated. Due to ill health, the children have been brought to Mainpur Hospital. BMO of Community Health Center Mainpur, Dr. Gajendra Dhruv, senior doctor K.D. Jogi said that the children are talking about eating Ratanjot. Just brought to the hospital, treatment is being done. In view of the serious situation, if necessary, referral will be made to the district hospital.
