Class 10 public exams begin today: 9.09 lakh students are taking the exams across Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu: The general elections for the 10th grade will be held on Wednesday (March 11).
The 10th grade public examination in Tamil Nadu will be held from March 11 to April 6, according to the state syllabus. A total of 909,002 students will appear for the examination, including 882,806 school students, 25,801 private students, and 395 prison inmates.
12,292 disabled candidates taking the 10th grade general examination have been granted the right to write. To prevent malpractices, more than 45,000 teachers and approximately 4,800 flying squads will be involved in the examination process.
Mobile phones of teachers and staff working at examination centers should be kept locked and sealed in the same cupboard where the question papers are kept. A separate cupboard should not be used for this purpose. This practice will be implemented starting this year.
A control room has been set up for students, candidates and general public to lodge their complaints, comments and doubts related to the general elections on mobile numbers 94983 83075 and 94983 83076 from 8 am to 8 pm on all election days.
