C.M. Mann wished all Punjabis a ‘Happy Diwali’ as well as a ‘Safe Diwali’. That is, he has asked people to keep security in mind on this festival. While wishing the people of Punjab, he said that the festival of Diwasi should bring happiness in every home, it should bring progress, hard work, heights and health for everyone.
C.M. Mann said that the festival of Diwali is a festival of lights, but thousands of children and youth lose their eyesight while bursting firecrackers, due to which this festival of lights becomes a festival of darkness for them.
Therefore celebrate this festival carefully. While bursting crackers, children and adults should burst crackers with caution, so that no accident happens to anyone. Expressing concern over increasing pollution, CM. Mann has requested all the citizens of Punjab to minimize bursting of firecrackers so that pollution does not spread in the environment. He said that by celebrating Green Diwali, Punjabis should emerge as a leading state in the entire country.
