CM Chaudhary’s message from Gandhi Maidan: Remembered the sacrifices of freedom fighters

Patna. As Chief Minister of Bihar, Samrat Chaudhary hoisted the national flag for the first time at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna on the occasion of Independence Day. On this occasion, he first took the salute of the parade and after that hoisted the tricolor flag and wished the people of the state a happy Independence Day.
A large number of people participated in the Independence Day celebrations held at Gandhi Maidan. Strict security arrangements were made in view of the program. Police forces were deployed throughout the grounds and surrounding areas. Special preparations were made by the administration regarding security arrangements and traffic management.
Tribute to freedom fighters
Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary in his address said that this glorious occasion of Independence Day reminds us of the sacrifice, penance and sacrifice of those brave freedom fighters, whose struggle and dedication brought independence to the country.
He said that behind the independent India we are breathing today is the struggle and sacrifice of millions of patriots. Freedom fighters had sacrificed everything for the independence of the country. His contribution will always inspire the countrymen.
Flag hoisting as Chief Minister for the first time
This Independence Day celebration was special for Samrat Chaudhary, because after becoming the Chief Minister, he hoisted the tricolor at Gandhi Maidan for the first time. Earlier, as the Chief Minister of Bihar, other Chief Ministers have been hoisting the flag in this ceremony.
The Chief Minister said that the glorious tradition and history of Bihar has been inspiring for the country. The state played an important role in the freedom movement and its people actively participated in the freedom struggle.
Grand event at Gandhi Maidan
The main celebration of Independence Day is organized every year at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. This time too, the administration had started preparations for the program several days in advance.
Various security agencies remained on alert during the function. People coming to the ground were screened and surveillance was increased around the venue. Police and administration officials continued to take stock of the system.
Message of development and responsibility
In his address, the Chief Minister also emphasized on the development of the state and people’s participation. He said that the government is continuously working to take Bihar forward and the role of the general public is very important in this.
He said that the aim of the state government is to take Bihar on a new path of development. Continuous efforts are being made in the fields of education, health, employment and basic facilities.
Appeal to youth and new generation
Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary appealed to the youth to contribute to the development of the country and the state. He said that the new generation should understand the ideals of freedom fighters and play their role in nation building.
He said that freedom is not only a right but also a responsibility. Every citizen should contribute in strengthening the country by performing his duties.
There were strict security arrangements
In view of the Independence Day celebrations, elaborate security arrangements were made at Gandhi Maidan and surrounding areas. According to police officials, additional forces were deployed at the venue and every movement was being monitored.
A special plan was also made to keep the traffic system smooth. Keeping in mind the convenience and safety of the people, the administration teams remained continuously active.
