CM dedicates modular OT complex at PGIMER and Capital Hospital
Bhubaneswar (ANI): Odisha-Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday dedicated a modular operation theater complex at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research and Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.
Inaugurating the modular OT complex, the CM said that this state-of-the-art facility is a big step for the treatment of patients in critical conditions.
The modular OT complex has been constructed at a cost of Rs 16.76 crore.
This modular operation theater complex is a highly advanced facility with state-of-the-art technology.
Using the new facility a variety of surgical procedures can be performed safely and efficiently, significantly contributing to better patient care. The complex has four operation theaters that can support eight operations simultaneously. VK Pandian, president of 5T Initiative and Ama Odisha Naveen Odisha, was present at the event.
Among others present were Health and Family Welfare Minister Niranjan Pujari, department secretary Shalini Pandit and other senior officials. (ANI)
