CM Mamata Banerjee paid floral tribute to Subhash Chandra Bose

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee paid floral tributes to freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary in Kolkata on Tuesday. In her tribute, the Chief Minister of West Bengal said, “As we remember Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose As we celebrate his 127th birth anniversary, my heart fills with deep admiration for a true hero, who has been an eternal source of inspiration for me. As we stand on the shoulders of this giant, let us pledge to carry forward his vision and legacy.” Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the country in observing the birth anniversary of legendary freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, which was observed as Parakram Diwas (Valour Day).

PM Modi paid floral tributes to the freedom fighter at the Constitution House (Old Parliament House). Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh and other leaders also paid floral tributes to Netaji in the Constitution House. The Prime Minister greeted the people of India and highlighted Netaji’s dedication to the country’s independence. PM Modi wrote on X, “Best wishes to the people of India on Parakram Diwas. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar also observed the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, which was observed as Parakram Diwas (Valour Day). In a tweet, Dhankhar wrote, “Remembering the fearless leader #NetajiSubhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary, celebrated as Parakram Diwas.
