CM Revanth’s suggestion to the new Sarpanches: Make your panchayats model villages

Hyderabad: A new ruling class has come to power in the government across Telangana. At this event, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy congratulated the newly elected sarpanches, deputy sarpanches, and ward members across the state. He urged them to bring about a change in governance and earn the respect of the people.
A new administration has begun across the state. After nearly two years, the new governing body took office on December 22nd. 12,702 sarpanches, deputy sarpanches, and 1,11,803 ward members took the oath of office.
There was a festive atmosphere on the occasion. The sarpanches decorated their offices at their own expense. Many sarpanches arrived at the office with fanfare and processions, while others began implementing their promises on the very first day.
Many offices were decorated, and oath-taking ceremonies were held across the state with great enthusiasm. While oath-taking ceremonies were held in many places, they were hampered in some places due to a lack of resources. The sarpanch of Bondrat in Tanur Mandal of Nirmal district, Sardar Patel, arrived on horseback in a procession amidst music and fanfare and assumed office.
