CM Sai expressed gratitude to Union Tourism Minister

Raipur. Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has expressed gratitude to Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for including Mayali Garden of Jashpur district in the major tourist destination of the country and inclusion of Jagdalpur and Bilaspur in the Swadesh Darshan scheme. Along with this, the Chief Minister has expressed happiness over the inclusion of Kudargarh temple of Surajpur district in the Prasad scheme by the Central Government. Mayali Garden of Jashpur has been selected by the Central Government among those 42 destinations of the country, which will be developed considering it a challenge. It will be a part of the Center’s Swadesh Darshan 2.0 project. Similarly, 57 cities across the country have been identified in the Swadesh Darshan scheme, which include Bilaspur and Jagdalpur of Chhattisgarh. These are the cities where inter-state tourism centers will be developed. 29 projects have been approved for this.

Under which work will also be done in Bilaspur and Jagdalpur. Along with this, 29 places across the country including Kudargarh temple of Surajpur district have been selected in the Prasad scheme for the rejuvenation of pilgrimage. Union Tourism Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, in a written reply to an unstarred question in the Rajya Sabha yesterday, said that the implementation of these plans has started. The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has accelerated the development process under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme. For this, 57 places have been identified in the country including Bilaspur and Jagdalpur of Chhattisgarh. 29 projects have been approved under this project. Under this scheme, 42 places have been selected across the country for challenge-based destination development, which also includes Mayali Garden of Jashpur. It is noteworthy that Mayali Garden is considered to be a very beautiful tourist center of Jashpur district. The Ministry of Tourism has also selected Kudargarh Temple of Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh for development under the Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Campaign (Prasad) scheme. Including this, a total of 29 places have been selected across the country, where projects are being implemented under this scheme.
