CM Samrat to unveil projects worth ₹285 crore.

Patna: Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary will gift development schemes worth crores of rupees to Bihar during an event at Gandhi Maidan today. He will launch 145 schemes costing approximately ₹284.99 crore. The administration has completed extensive preparations for the event.

Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary will inaugurate the ‘Bapudham Mahotsav’ at Gandhi Maidan at 12:30 PM. Following this, he will lay the foundation stones for and inaugurate various development schemes across different departments. Security arrangements at Gandhi Maidan and the surrounding areas have been significantly tightened for the event.

Laying Foundation Stones for 90 Schemes

During the event, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary will lay the foundation stones for 90 schemes with a total cost of ₹8,889.19 lakh. Once completed, these schemes are expected to provide better amenities to the general public.

According to officials, these projects encompass roads, buildings, public amenities, and other development works. The government aims to strengthen the state’s infrastructure and provide improved facilities to the people.

Inaugurating 55 Schemes

On this occasion, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate 55 completed schemes. A total of ₹19,610.14 lakh has been spent on these projects.

The launch of these projects will accelerate development work in the respective areas. The government claims that these schemes will directly benefit the public and further boost the pace of development in the state.

Tight Security Arrangements at Gandhi Maidan

In view of the Chief Minister’s program, Gandhi Maidan has been brought under a comprehensive security cover. Police and administrative officials have made multi-layered security preparations.

Gandhi Maidan has been sealed off from all sides. A large number of police officers and personnel have been deployed, and individuals moving in the vicinity of the venue are being screened.

Declared a ‘No-Drone Fly Zone’

For security reasons, the Police Centre, Gandhi Maidan, and the auditorium area have been declared a ‘no-drone fly zone.’ The operation of any kind of drone in this area is strictly prohibited.

Police officials stated that there would be no laxity regarding security arrangements. Continuous surveillance will be maintained at the event venue and in the surrounding areas.

Changes in Traffic Arrangements

Special arrangements have been made to manage traffic flow in the city during the event. Additional police forces have been deployed on the roads surrounding Gandhi Maidan.

Barricades have been set up at several locations to regulate vehicular movement. The public is urged to use alternative routes and cooperate with security measures.

Administration Completes Preparations

Officials from the district administration, police department, and other relevant departments have held multiple rounds of meetings to ensure the event’s success. Specific responsibilities have been assigned to various officials.

Arrangements have been made for seating, security checks, medical facilities, and emergency response at the venue.

Development Works to Gain Momentum

The schemes for which Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate are being viewed as integral to the state’s development. The government states that these schemes will boost employment, enhance amenities, and strengthen infrastructure.

The Bihar government is consistently emphasizing the expansion of development schemes. As part of this initiative, projects worth crores of rupees will be launched and inaugurated today from Gandhi Maidan.
