CM Stalin inaugurates Kilambakkam bus terminal
Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin along with ministers Shekhar Babu and TM Anbarasan on Saturday inaugurated the Kilambakkam Bus Terminus, built at a cost of about Rs 400 crore.
Built on 88.52 acres of land, where 2,310 buses including 40 omnibuses will be operated every day. This terminus is named after former CM M Karunanidhi.
A trial run of more than 100 buses was conducted on 12 December. The opening of the terminus will reduce congestion at Koyambedu bus terminus and traffic jam at GST Road.
