Collector reached the public hearing of Narayani Gram Panchayat

Pratapgarh : District Collector Dr. Anjali Rajoria participated in the public hearing program on Thursday at Gram Panchayat Narayani of Chhotisadri, Panchayat Samiti of the district.To solve the problems of the common people at the local level, a public hearing program was organized by the state government on the first Thursday of the month in Gram Panchayat Narayani of Panchayat Samiti Chhotisadri under the three-tier public hearing program.

The District Collector held a public hearing on the spot and gave instructions to the officials of the concerned department to resolve the grievances. He directed the officers to provide maximum benefits of the schemes to the common people and said that all eligible persons should be brought under the ambit of the schemes and this work should be done on priority. Subdivision level officers and employees were present on this occasion. It is noteworthy that to solve the problems of the common people, various officials listened to the problems of the people and gave necessary guidelines in the Gram Panchayat level public hearing across the district.

In the first phase, sickle cell screening will be done in all tribal category schools.
Pratapgarh, February 1. Sickle cell anemia screening work is going on under the direction of the District Collector. In the first phase, all the children of tribal category will be screened in all the schools.
Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. VD Meena said that this is a genetic disease which is passed from parents to the next generation. To prevent this, a sickle cell anemia screening campaign is being run across the country by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The target has been set to eradicate this disease by the year 2047


Deputy CMHO Dr. Jagdeep Kharadi said that as per the instructions of the District Collector, this campaign is being run across the district jointly by the Medical Department, Education Department and Women and Child Development Department. He told that this is a serious disease, with the said screening the picture will be clear as to what prevalence of sickle cell anemia is found. In the first phase, screening of all tribal groups will be done, after which screening will be done in other schools also in a phased manner. He said that to increase the screening test, the team of trained technicians was being increased so that the target of screening at least 28,000 children in a day could be achieved.

District Water and Sanitation Committee meeting held

Pratapgarh, February 1. The meeting of the District Water and Sanitation Committee was held in the District Collector Auditorium on Wednesday under the chairmanship of District Collector and Chairman District Water and Sanitation Committee Dr. Anjali Rajoria. The District Collector gave instructions regarding the currently approved and ongoing work under Jal Jeevan Mission and the progress of FHTCS.
In the meeting, the District Collector reviewed the work of the Implementation Assistance Agency (ISA), DPMU and TPIA. Also, under Jal Jeevan Mission, instructions were given to provide water connections on priority in schools, Anganwadi centres, Gram Panchayat buildings and health centers of Pratapgarh district. Taking information about the area-wise works, the District Collector directed the officials of the concerned department to do physical verification and to complete the ongoing works quickly and to repair the roads dug for laying pipelines on priority.


During this, the progress report of Jal Jeevan Mission so far in District Pratapgarh was presented through PPT by Shaitan Singh, Superintendent Engineer, PhD, Pratapgarh. Chief Executive Officer of District Council Durgashankar Meena, Superintending Engineer of Electricity Department Indraraj Meena, Executive Engineer of Project Block Pratapgarh Mohammad Akram Shaikh, Executive Engineer Shantilal Ostwal and other officials of the department and other members of District Water Sanitation Mission were present in the meeting.

Applications invited till 10th February for setting up village level soil testing laboratory.
Pratapgarh, February 1. At present, out of total 8 Panchayat Samitis of the district, soil testing laboratories are established in two Panchayat Samitis, the remaining 6 Panchayat Samiti (Suhagpura, Pipalkhunt, Dalot, Arnod, Chhotisadri, Dhamottar) headquarters are under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme RKVY-Soil in the year 2023-24. It is proposed to establish one VLSTL (Village Level Soil Testing Laboratory) each under Health and Fertility. The last deadline for application for this is 10 February 2023. Interested persons can obtain the application form from the office of Joint Director Agriculture (Extension), Zilla Parishad, Pratapgarh. Out of the received proposals, after screening by the District Level Executive Committee, one proposal for each Panchayat Committee will be sent to the Agriculture Commissionerate for finalization by the State Level Implementation Committee.


Joint Director Agriculture (Extension) District Council, Pratapgarh, Banshidhar Meena said that the analysis capacity of VLSTL will be around 3000 soil samples per year. Sample analysis cost amounts to Rs. The rate of Rs. 300/- per sample will be borne under the scheme. If in addition to 3000 samples, 500 samples are given for additional testing, then the amount for 500 samples will be Rs. Incentive amount will be given at the rate of Rs. 20/- per sample. After this, additional samples will be tested by the Village Level Entrepreneur and the fee amount fixed by the State Government will be Rs. 5/- per sample.

This will be the eligibility criteria for the beneficiary
