Complaint letter against Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister on the matter of lathi charge on BJP assembly march
Patna (IANS). A complaint letter has been filed in a Patna court on Saturday in connection with the lathicharge during Bihar BJP’s assembly march. Six people including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, Patna District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar, Patna SSP Rajeev Mishra have been named as accused in this complaint letter.
A complaint letter has been filed by BJP leader Krishna Singh Kallu in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate of Patna Civil Court. BJP leader’s advocate Sunil Kumar Singh said on Tuesday that a complaint letter has been filed under IPC sections 302, 307, 323, 341, 354 and 120B.
It is alleged in the complaint that the peaceful march from Patna Gandhi Maidan to the Vidhan Sabha on July 13 was already scheduled. BJP workers and many big leaders were marching peacefully. During this, the police attacked. As soon as the march reached near Dak Bungalow Chauraha, the police simultaneously attacked with water cannons, tear gas and lathis.
Because of this party leader Vijay Kumar Singh died. In this case, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, Patna District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh, Patna SSP Rajeev Mishra, Patna DSP Ashok Kumar Singh, Officer-in-Charge of Gandhi Maidan Police Station Arun Kumar have been named as accused.
