Congress announces ‘Halla Bol’ march to Maharashtra Assembly on Monday
Nagpur. Top Maharashtra Congress leaders on Saturday said the party will take out a ‘Halla Bol’ march to the Maharashtra Assembly on December 11 to raise issues of farmers, youth, women, law and order and other public issues. State Congress President Nana Patole said that the farmers of the state are in great trouble, there is no fixed price for agricultural produce. Farmers have suffered huge losses due to the recent unseasonal rains/hailstorms, yet the government has not provided them proper assistance. He said that the government is only making hollow announcements. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and others visited the ravaged fields and returned only after taking photographs. Actual assistance has not yet reached the farmers. Even the previously announced assistance has not been distributed and crop insurance money is also pending.
Nana Patole further said that the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) of the Congress-Nationalist Congress Party (SP)-Shiv Sena (UBT) held strong protests for two consecutive days outside the Assembly to highlight the plight of the farmers, but the state The government did not allow discussion on this. Talking about the law and order situation, Patole cited the latest National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report, in which Maharashtra ranks second in kidnapping, murder, abuse of women and other crimes. But Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Home Minister have completely ignored them.
He accused the ruling Mahayuti regime of not announcing the recruitments. He said that 2.5 lakh posts are vacant in government departments, but the government is not recruiting. Lakhs of students are waiting for jobs, lakhs of children are being deprived due to age limit. Patole will lead ‘Halla Bol’. It will include senior leaders like Balasaheb Thorat, former Chief Ministers Ashok Chavan and Prithviraj Chavan, Satej Patil, M Arif Naseem Khan, Basavaraj Patil, Praniti Shinde, Kunal Patil, all MLAs and MPs, Mahila Congress, Youth Congress and other branches of the party.
