Congress called Bhatti Vikramark, Uttam Kumar to Delhi
Hyderabad: Due to lack of consensus in Telangana Congress on the selection of the new Prime Minister, AICC called principal leaders Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and N Uttam Kumar Reddy to Delhi to discuss the issue. Since the winter session of Parliament is going on, it is likely that AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge will hold a meeting with Karnataka Deputy Minister DK Shiva Kumar in the afternoon. The news of the resolution passed in the Congress Legislative Party meeting was celebrated here on Monday. A party leader said the CLP had authorized the AICC to elect a new minister principal, although some leaders had different views. AICC is expected to announce the new minister after the meeting. Telangana Congress leaders were expected to hold a formal swearing-in ceremony with some members on Monday night, but the event was postponed due to lack of consensus among key party leaders. Now speculations are rife that the new cabinet may announce its decision on December 7, as many leaders believe that Tuesday and Wednesday are unfavourable. She is also planning a public meeting on December 9 at the LB Stadium or Parade Ground.
