Congress lost its chair in Nagar Panchayat

Kawardha. After the results of assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, Congress-backed president of Nagar Panchayat Pandatarai, Firoz Khan, has lost the chair of the president. 6 Congress councilors and 4 BJP councilors together brought down the Speaker by bringing a no-confidence motion.

10 votes were cast in favor of the no-confidence motion brought against Nagar Panchayat President Firoz Khan. Whereas the opposition got 5 votes. Let us tell you that in the recently held assembly elections, Congress has also lost two seats in Kawardha district. BJP has registered historic victory in Kawardha and Pandariya.
