Congress MLA Sachin Birla joins BJP

Bhopal . Congress got a big blow in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, when Congress MLA Sachin Birla joined the BJP. Birla was also seen in BJP programs for quite some time.

Birla was also maintaining distance from Congress.

In the state office of BJP, MLA Sachin Birla accepted the membership of the party on Sunday after being impressed by the customs and policies of BJP in front of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Bharatiya Janata Party State President Vishnudutt Sharma and State Organization General Secretary Hitanand.

The Chief Minister, State President and State Organization General Secretary welcomed Birla by wearing the party attire.

While discussing with the media, MLA Sachin Birla said that he has joined the party after being influenced by the people-friendly policies of the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Chouhan and the ideology of BJP.

He said, whatever responsibility the party gives me, I will discharge it with full devotion.(IANS)
