Delhi: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reached the national capital on Saturday to attend the meeting of the Congress Screening Committee. After this the Central Election Committee (CEC) of the party will take the final decision on this. Congress has already announced 95 out of 200 candidates for Rajasthan. The party had released two lists for Rajasthan with 33 and 43 candidates on October 21 and 22.
On 26 October, the party had announced the names of 19 candidates in its third list. The grand old party released its third list on a day when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at over 11 places, including the premises of state unit chief Govind Singh Dotasra. ED also called Ashok Gehlot’s son Vaibhav Gehlot for questioning in the FEMA case.
