Construction Of Ground Floor Of Ayodhya’s Ram Temple Set For October Completion

In a significant development, sources have revealed that the construction of the ground floor of the three-storied Ram temple in Ayodhya is on track to be completed by October this year. The temple, which holds immense cultural and religious significance, is set to be consecrated in January, coinciding with the beginning of the election year, according to NDTV reports.

The construction work on the ground floor has reached its final stages, and Nripendra Mishra, a member of the temple trust, recently assessed the progress of the project. The temple itself is an architectural marvel, with dimensions spanning 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width, and a towering height of 161 feet. It will boast an impressive arrangement of 392 pillars and 46 doors, all meticulously crafted from teak wood. The sanctum sanctorum will feature a door adorned with gold embellishments, adding to its grandeur.While the specific date for the consecration of the temple’s statue has yet to be determined, it is expected to occur after the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti. As a momentous event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be extended a formal invitation to grace the ceremony, acknowledging the significance of the temple and its impact on the cultural fabric of the nation.
